  14. I was wondering if anybody knows if it's possible to have two modems
  15. communicate with one another between an RJ-11/RJ-10 cable WITHOUT a 
  16. phone line.  Could this be achieved by AT commands that trick the modem 
  17. to think that it has already dialed or been dialed and is online.  If 
  18. possible would this require special software?  Also would I need a cross 
  19. or straight through cable?
